India & Kuwait Ink Defence Pact, Elevate Ties To Strategic Partnership After PM Modi Meets Top Kuwaiti Leaders

India and Kuwait on Sunday elevated their ties to a strategic partnership, inked a key pact on boosting defence cooperation and vowed to soon finalise an ambitious investment treaty as Prime Minister Narendra Modi held extensive talks with Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and other top leaders of the Gulf nation to broad-base the bilateral relations.
